LANGUAGE ARTS

• Egg Memory
• Using stickers of various pictures, letters, words or designs and 20 top halves of plastic eggs (all the same color):
• Paste two identical stickers inside two different eggs
• Repeat for 10 sets
• You should have 10 matching sets
• Turn them sticker side down
• Children take turns looking under 2 eggs at a time
• If they get a matching set, they take the pair and go again
• If they do not match, turn the eggs back down and the next player tries to make a pair

• Chicken Lingo
• Female chicken = hen
• Male chicken = rooster
• Baby chicken = chick

ART

• Eggshell Mosaic
• Save eggshells from cooking
• Rinse and remove the membrane (if needed)
• Color in food coloring
• Dry on paper towels
• Have your child break the shells
• Have your child glue the broken shells onto paper to create a mosaic

VISUAL MEMORY

• Place 5 colored eggs in a row
• Have the children close their eyes and remove one egg
• Have them open their eyes
• Ask "Which one is missing?"
