LOWER THE FAT
- Replace eggs with egg whites for less fat and cholesterol: 2 whites = 1 egg.
- Butter substitutes or 50/50 butter can be used instead of whole butter. They have less saturated and trans fats.
- Instead of whole milk, use skim or lowfat milk.
- Use parchment sheets instead of greasing pans to save fat.
- The healthiest oils to use when watching cholesterol are canola or olive oil.
