• Place 4 toothpicks in the middle of a sweet potato
• Suspend over a cup of water, so that the bottom is in the water but not touching the bottom of the cup
• Keep in sunlight

• Have your child cut facial features from a magazine
• Attach the features with toothpicks
• Have your child make up a story about their new character

• While the sweet potato muffins are baking in the oven, you can sing this song with your child, while passing a potato back and forth to each other:
